Thank you Inge. Let's not forget that there's an eclipse happening today... I can feel it since I woke up. There's a lot of movement inside and outside. Let us welcome our blues Inge. It will change. We can have a walk one of these days if you're up to? Have a present evening! πππ
2017 was a bad year, finding me in bed, catatonic due to PTSD from the election. I shouldnβt be surprised my curtains stay closed, my phone off, trying to fend off the world, their pain and mine. Itβs getting harder and harder to fight at 71. Why becomes the question. I feel your pain and hope you maintain your strength by writing. I have been here six weeks and it has helped me. π¦
Thank you very much! I'm glad you found your way here on Substack. It's a grateful and supportive community, more than I have ever seen elsewhere on the net. I started early 2023 on my personal blog and moved to Substack a little more than a month ago; I don't regret it. Writing helps me a lot. It helps to realize and get closer to me. It's much like a therapy. I'm glad it helps you as well. Regarding depression, let's not cling too much to it. Yes, it's painful, but it bears a truth, a wisdom to collect, if we're able to accept it that way. Realizing the madness of my mind, and training myself to stay present, has put me back into the driving seat. My little 1-week period of depression is slowly ending again, and I took out some very meaningful insights about which I'm sure going to write. Thanks for your wishes! I also wish you to maintain strength, not to fight, but to let go, to find yourself in the now. Thank you for being here Wendy! ππ
So brave too share this.
And yes, music can help a lot to distillate some emotions.
Also having the blues right now, nothing so serious though. The new moon doesnβt help, time for reflection and preparation for growth π€·ββοΈ
Again and again..
Take care , the Greek sun is warming ππ
